Nebojša Stojčić
Associate professor and Vice Rector for Business Affairs at University of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
He is a professor and researcher with interest in topics from industrial economics, economics of innovation and urban and regional economics. His current research focuses on transition of middle income countries from production towards innovation driven growth in the age of digital transformation. His work was published in leading economics and business fields journals such as European Economic Review, Regional Studies, Research Policy and Structural Change and Economic Dynamics.
He is currently serving as Vice rector for business affairs at University of Dubrovnik, Croatia. Prior to that he served in two terms as Head of Department of Economics and Business at University of Dubrovnik. He is also founder and director of Center for research in digital transformation – Credo at University of Dubrovnik.
At Staffordshire University, Stojcic has been part of supervisory team of two PhD students that successfully completed their PhD studies with straight pass. Since January 2020 he is awarded title of Visiting professor at Staffordshire University. Stojcic is author of most cited Economics paper in Croatia and coordinator of highest ranked project financed by Croatian science foundation.
He is continuously ranked among top 10 most productive Croatian scientists in the field of economics. As coordinator, senior expert and expert he participated in over 30 projects financed within H2020, FP7, Erasmus+ CBHE, Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships, Interreg IPA and Croatian Science foundation as well as in many other collaborations with business community in Croatia and Central and South Eastern Europe.
