Aleksandar Stojkov is Professor of Economics at Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law, Department of Economics and Business Law, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, where he served as a Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Financial Affairs (2012-2018). He is a post-doctoral research fellow of CIRANO institute in Montreal (Canada), member of the National Bank Board of North Macedonia, and a fellow of the International Trade and Finance Association, Salzburg Global Seminar, and of the London School of Economics’ Centre for Research on South Eastern Europe. His main interests are in international macroeconomics, public finance and political economy. He has published five books, over twenty article in international peer-reviewed journals and several publications and op-eds in national and regional level.
